make version 3.63. DECstation 3100 Ultrix 4.3. The "distclean" rule in the Makefile deletes make-stds.texi which cannot be regenerated. The problematic line is -rm -f TAGS tags make.info* make-* make.dvi "distclean" shouldn't remove something that can't be regenerated. Tom
