The thing about blank lines between directories is really trivial and doesn't make any difference, and I don't mind seeing a directory label on single directories either. But listing symlinks to directories as directories is much nicer. This matters to me a lot because my home directory consists of about eight symlinks to directories on other disks (because the disk my home directory is on doesn't have space).
