What does it take to get the -j flag to work? I tried "./make -j 4 make"
after blowing off the object files in the make directory and it did the
usual serial gig. I am running untouched GNU make 3.27 on a SUN 3/50
running SunOS 4.0.

Grunwald's hacks of 3.05 may have been ugly, but they worked!
