Does anyone know what incantations must be given to make (3.27) to
make it capable of using the X11 R3 makefiles? It seems to have grief
with the multiple ::'s in the files generated by imake.
On another side, is there a 'real' definition of what make should do?
The Ultrix and Sun versions of make have no problem with the X11
makefiles so I am wondering if there is a 'standard' somewhere that
says what things make should be able to do.
