Looking for HP patches to tar-1.08

Does anybody have patches to tar-1.08 for HP-UX (6.0 - 7.0) to do:

a) compile?

b) Understand HP's CDF's, and still be usable for full backups?

c) make it work under 6.0 (soon to be 7.0)?
