GNU Finger: version 1.37, got from ftp.germany.eu.net
SUN SPARCstation 2; SunOS 4.1.1, NIS installed
gcc 2.2.2
configure with no parameters
Change in Makefile to compile server without errors: $(CC)= changed to CC=
No other problems during instalation.

Problem with fingerd:

Fingerd cannot get hosts info from NIS hosts database and generats the error:
"Can't get info for host ...". When the host is added to the /etc/hosts
file everything works OK.
