In article <y-qyrwk@rpi.edu> I write: } } Has anyone been able to use these on an Rs/6000 ? } } Has anyone got xxgdb working on an Rs/6000 ? } Problem solved. The answer should be 'yes' to both questions. I found that the default definition for SIGN_EXTEND_CHAR would not work for AIX. Redefining SIGN_EXTEND_CHAR for this special case did the trick. -Shiva -=- ITS Systems Programmer
