Can someone tell me whether any security testing has been done of GNU Finger, specifically, is it subject to the same kinds of holes that the Morris worm exploited in BSD finger? I would *like* to modify our network firewall to allow finger requests through, but not unless I have some assurance that doing so is reasonably safe. -- Jamie
