When building binutils2.0, host=sparc-sun-sunos4.1 target=68k-sun-sunos4.1 in a separate directory (as encouraged for building cross development tools), a bug in opcodes/Makefile was exposed. in opcodes/Makefile, line 134, the macro expansion of DODIRS is empty. This means that one ends up with for i in ; do ..... which is illegal sh syntax; sh wants to see a set of iterates containing at least one element, not zero elements.
