We have been merrily using gs386 on a horrible amstrad ibm-compat, printing stuff on a HPlaserjet3p with no problems. When said amstrad died, we obtained a not-quite-as-unreliable HP. Transfer all files across, and all works hoopily, except that now gs386 -sDEVICE=ljet3 frogs.ps bombs out with an 'unknown error in setdevice'. The same error occurs if (ljet3) selectdevice is used within gs386. Sending text to prn works fine. Help!
