I'm trying to get GDBM working on a SCO Unix box (without ODT), 
unfortunately it calls alloca which is not available under SCO, 
does anyone know if this has been ported to SCO?

Have you gotten gdbm-1.5 working on your SCO?  Are you using gcc?
