Running GNU Finger 1.37 on a SparcStation
#1254

My setup:

    Sun SparcStation IPC, SunOS 4.1.3
    GNU Finger 1.37
default build & make (no args to ./configure)
no problems during compilation or installation

My problem:

As far as I can tell everything works just peachy. Inetd is configured
ok, fingerd polls every 120 seconds, the client works fine. There's
just one thing: "finger @host" doesn't work:

    % finger @draconis
    [draconis.cp.tn.tudelft.nl]
No one logged in on client machines.
    %

However:

    % finger .local
User Real Name What Idle TTY Host Console Location
cpadmin CP System Administ 0:15 p3 draconis (cygnus:0.0)
gabri Gabri van der Maar p4 draconis (:0.0)
gabri Gabri van der Maar 0:03 p5 draconis (:0.0)
leo Leo Breebaart p1 draconis (cygnus:0.0)
    %

If I try to finger a remote host (e.g. gnu.ai.mit.edu), it works ok,
so I guess the problem must be with my finger server somehow, right?

I'm rather new to the business of mucking around with inetd's and services
files, so I suspect I've made some silly mistake. Does anybody out there
have a clue as to what is going on?
