 In my previous message, I wrote:

| 	$(objs) : %.o : $$(filter \%%.c,$$(srcs))
and
| 	$(objs) : %.o : $$(filter $$(percent)%.c,$$(srcs))

 Both need a '\ ' after 'filter' in order to be pseudo-correct;
otherwise the dependcy is split up into two "file names", '$$(filter'
and '....,$$(srcs))'.
