Howdy:

GNU finger 1.37 doesn't seem to be displaying forwarding information
from ".forward" files correctly. Here is ~plg/.forward from our
system:

======================================================================
cliff
segre
======================================================================

Although this works for us, i.e., plg mail is forwarded to both cliff
and segre, finger-1.37 claims that:

======================================================================
% finger plg

Cool Programming Languages (plg)
Home: /usr/u/plg
Shell: /usr/local/noshell
Mail forwarded to cliff.
...
======================================================================

In particular, it doesn't mention anything about segre. Finger works
fine if ~plg/.forward contains the single line "cliff,segre"; is it
reading only one line instead of all of them before EOF?
