I fetched binutils from prep.ai.mit.edu this morning. The making was done on a Sun-4. Here are the errors: ----------------------------------------------------------------------> cd /home/kovic/pinard/Inst/binutils/ make -k cc -g -c strip.c -o strip.o "strip.c", line 633: undefined structure or union "strip.c", line 633: warning: illegal member use: r_extern "strip.c", line 636: r_symbolnum undefined "strip.c", line 645: undefined structure or union make: *** [strip.o] Error 1 make: Target `all' not remade because of errors. Compilation finished at Sun Dec 3 14:04:13 ----------------------------------------------------------------------< Replacing `#include <a.out.h>' by `#include "a.out.gnu.h"' at strip.c(36) alleviates the problem. -- Franc,ois Pinard pinard@iro.umontreal.ca (514) 588-4656 ``Vivement GNU!'' ...!uunet!iros1!pinard
