The bug?
When a rule is to execute a csh script on a Sun SPARC, I get:
garlock{hurst}63: make test_csh
script.csh
csh: Permission denied
make: *** [test_csh] Error 1
This works fine on an hp730 running GNUmake made from the
same source. It also works fine when using the native Sun
make. Here is a demo. garlock is a sun4, cobra is an hp730
garlock{hurst}65: make test_csh
script.csh
csh: Permission denied
make: *** [test_csh] Error 1
garlock{hurst}66: make test_sh
