tar 1.10 documentation

I have just installed gnutar and it works great. This is what they have at
wuarchive.wustl.edu, so I guess it's pretty up to date. Anyways, I have
two questions (not bugs: sorry)

1) Is the new doc close to being done?

2) I know that I'm not supposed to send bug reports about the old documentation,
but I would really like to have something. And the first line in tar.texinfo
is:

\input texinfo ....

This presumably defines various macros, but wasn't included with the
distribution. Is this avialable?

Thanks.

Yes. It will probably (but not certainly) be in the upcoming release
of 1.11.

The macros are texinfo.tex, and were inadvertently left out of the
1.10 distribution. You should not trust that manual too much...
