I am using gnutar to do multi-volume backups. I have been
experiencing some wierd things that I think have something
to do with the size of a file crossing a volume.
The file size is ~114 MB. The backup (cvMf) seems to go well,
but listing (tvMf), or comparing (dvMf) the backup yields a
message regarding the volumes being out of sequence.
If I try to list (tvf) the second volume, I get...

and the end of the first volume lists like

so I do know that the file continues properly.
