I saw the announcement for gnu cpio 2.1 today and decided to retrieve and
build it. I used a SUN 4/670 with SunOS 4.1.2 and gcc 2.2.2. Here is
what happened during the "make":

.
.
gcc -O -c -g  -DMAJOR_IN_SYSMACROS=1 -DHAVE_UTIME_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_MTIO_H=1 -Dcons
t= -DHAVE_UNISTD_H=1 -DUSG=1 -DDIRENT=1 -DVOID_CLOSEDIR=1 -I. rtapelib.c
In file included from /usr/local/include/features.h:141, from /usr/local/include
/signal.h:27, from rtapelib.c:36:
/usr/local/include/sys/cdefs.h:80: warning: `const' redefined
*Initialization*:1: warning: this is the location of the previous definition
rtapelib.c: In function `__rmt_ioctl':
rtapelib.c:534: parse error before `struct'
rtapelib.c:542: parse error before `struct'
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `rtapelib.o'

Does anyone have any ideas/comments? ./configure seemed to run fine.
