Compiler: gcc 2.2.1

Description: When trying to verify a tar-archive written to tape,
I get an I/O-error, although the archive is correctly written.

Example:

>tar cWf /dev/rst0 testfile
tar: read error on /dev/rst0 : I/O error
>tar tf /dev/rst0
testfile
>

Comment: The problem seems to fixed, if MTBSF is replace by MTNBSF in
line 465 of diffarch.c.
