GNU make 3.62 core dumps on Solaris 2.0

GNU make 3.62 can core dump on Solaris 2.0 systems if the
following code from read.c (lines 982--988) runs:

	if (!pattern_matches (pattern, pattern_percent, name))
	  {
	    /* Give a warning if the rule is meaningless. */
	    makefile_error (filename, lineno,
			    "target `%s' doesn't match the target pattern");
	    this = 0;
	  }

The problem is that no argument to makefile_error is supplied
to match the %s format. So, when fprintf tries to print the
"target `%s' doesn't match the target pattern" string it gets a
random address for the argument corresponding to %s, gets a
SIGSEGV, and core dumps.
