TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER
TRIPLER ARMY MEDICAL CENTER, HAWAII

Telecommunications
Engineer with the following skills and experience.

Education:	BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
required.

Job Description:	Develops engineering plans and implementation designs
for
telecommunications and information systems technologies including:
switching,
radio, microwave, carrier, cable, and networking.  Independently
analyzes
work, identifies problem areas, and determines technical approaches to
problems.  Coordinates with senior engineers and the customers from
effected
organizations to ensure work is complete, timely, and responsive to
requirements.  Oversees implementation of SL-100 telephone switch,
video
teleconferencing systems, and Local & Wide Area Networks.
	
Required Skills:	A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in
communications/system engineering, integration, and implementation of
telephone switching systems, knowledge of DoD/commercial
communications
hardware, and network equipment, and DoD acquisition processes.

Desired Skills:	Knowledge of DEC ALPHA hardware and UNIX operating
systems,
background with DoD communication systems, background in LAN/WAN and
router
installation set-up, self-starter, able to work with minimal
supervision in a
team environment.

must meet
eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Candidates
with current SSBI's preferred.
