Actually it is worse for the people who actually live here because we
don't even get to share in the wealth.  Alberta may be an oil rich,
money rich province but believe me when I say that the money does not
seem to make it past Ralph Klien. I recently had a fellow who is
originally from Ontario tell me that it was time for him to go home.
He said that when he came out here 13 years ago things were cheaper
but now when he goes home to visit his mother in Ontario even Alberta
beef is cheaper to buy there than in the province it is grown,
Alberta. Even our salaries don't come anywhere near what public
employees in Ontario are making. Not sure,then go to the Alberta web
site and have a look for yourself. Ninety nine percent of the jobs pay
well under 100,000 dollars, even the managers. House taxes have gone
through the roof since Bill Smith became Mayor and services that we
should be getting for this money have been cut back so often that in
actual fact we don't even get any services. On top of that we have
huge user fees and now even have to pay for storm run off...imagine,
we have to pay for run off when it rains or snows.  There is more but
I think you get the picture. It is called GREED.
