There is little need for revolt, in any violent way. Remember, this is Canada, land of the beaver, beer and a good TV program. Government is in a weak position. If you really want to watch you politicos jump - stop paying your taxes. Remember, as taxpayers, you may wish to complain as often as possible. If your governments refuse you and your interests, closing your wallet might be an effective means of slapping those politicos where they need it most. You need attitude for this. You need to accept the fact this is your country and your responsible for it. The politico subcontractors work for you, and of they be irresponsible, then it's you right to fire them. No elections required. Voting in responsible people would also be a move in the right direction ;-) > > BTW: Many, many of us private sector citizens work to try and create some > realistic, positive change in a legal way and most of the time this > frustrates me ot the point of *wanting* to take a [registered of course] > shotgun up the steps of the Parliment building in my old Cherokee! The > devils! ;-> No need for that. So much effort for the polticos on your part. I seriously doubt they desearve it. Next time you feel like taking that shotgun and aiming it at a politico, stop. Wait until your ready to take a really big shit, put it in plastic bag, and mail it collect (no postage needed for your MP). I think that's a much more effective and aromatic position to take. Remember, wrap your shit up well so it does not bother our postal people. The goodies are not for them, and they don't need the odure ;-)
