Howdy!

The Atlantic Canada LGBT magazine, Wayves, that I've been involved with
for the last quarter century (I'm nominally the "publisher") just
printed a slim volume of LGBT poetry and prose, the 5th since 1993,
called "punoqun."

I didn't write any of the pieces in this book -- that's not my talent --
but I ran the show from call for submissions to herding the judges, to
graphic design and layout (and I took the pics that were used for
graphics.) We printed one for every copy of the magazine, 4800, plus an
extra 500 to give away or sell.

A good friend produced the book launch on Friday (because he's better at
it, and because it had to be done simultaneously with finishing the
book.) It half of page 35 of today's Daily News:

(In the picture, Hugo is doing an animated reading of the fairly racy
poem on page 4.)

I got quoted a couple times, and didn't say anything particularly stupid
or insult anyone, so it was a good interview.

The book -- 20 pages of poetry and prose -- is free to download here:

Sure to offend some people. lol

Cheers,
