My system configuration:

Asus T2P4 (HX motherboard)
Intel 200MMX + 64MB RAM
First IDE HD (primary IDE channel master) Seagate ST52520A
2.5G
Second IDE HD (primary IDE channel slave) Seagate ST39140A 9.1G
(7200rpm)
Teac 12x CD-ROM (secondary IDE channel master)
Dispaly card - Adrenaline Rush 3D PCI
etc.

The new 7200rpm 9.1G HD is just added to my system and every thing seem
to be okay.
However, sometime when the system access this new HD, it take several
seconds & halt. At the same time, I can hear a clear "spin-up" noise &
halt for several seconds. Then everything is okay.
What is the problem?
Even I turn off all the power management function, this problem still
exist.
This problem is very harmful to some program such as Winamp during
playback. It is because there is a several seconds halt when Winamp
trying to read the mp3 song data from this new drive. But it is okay
for my old 2.5G HD.
Can anyone or expert can help me?
