Hi all :
Any help you can provide is appreciated.

I have an IBM Thinkpad 755CX with 24 MB RAM. Yesterday, I downloaded
from IBM the Mwave Ver 2.0 software to upgrade the modem from 14.4 to
28.8.
I can log onto AsiaOn-Line with Trumpet ver 2.0 rev B. But I cannot
connect with Pagasus Mail ver 2.1, FreeAgent 1.0 & Netscape ver 1.22
last night after the modem software upgrade.
I am sending this message from my office machine, which has a 14.4
modem attached.
Is there any modification that  any of you  are aware of,  that I need
to make to the aforementioned softwares to run with the 28.8 modem ?

 Have you install a new comm.drv?

please try to add the following lines at system.ini [386Enh]

   1) COMnFIFO=1       

   2) COMnRXFileSize=8
 
   (where n=COM Port#)

or access to :

   1) http://www.best.com/~malch/comfaq.html

   2) http://www.aimnet.com/~jnavas/modemfaq.html
