Alan, I guess you are from CUIA, right?? Actually, we from the SIS of HKUST
had this idea in the beginning of last year. However, we eventually gave
up the plan since we thought that those ISPs may not be interested in
doing their promotion in kind of academic way. I don't think most of ISPs
here are making much profits. They will not use their resource to do something
that may not be too much helpful to their sales.
What I suggest is to do some kind of promotion internally first, I mean
inside CU. When an assoication gets enough man power, it can do something
fancy. But if you want to have a try in Internet Exhibition, I am also
glad to see.

Don't expect those ISP will make a special effort to make a special
presentation in the exhibition. You know, I don't think they have too
much resource. Otherwise, you will not see so much complaints to 
the ISPs. In nowadays competitive market, what they really concern are
their sales. 

The possibility of holding an Internet Exhibition among those Internet,
or Computer societies may be higher. Just an alternative to let you
think of.
