Hope this doesn't sound >too< nerdy, but I'd love to know what some other users think is the best place to get pizza. I'd disqualify automatically ANY and EVERY one of the chains (Pizza Hut, Pizza Inn, Dominos, etc.). My wife's favorite is Star Pizza, off Shepherd/Greenbriar, one block north of Hwy. 59. It definitely takes hand made (in a good way). I used to love the Pizzeria Uno way out west on Westheimer; I'm less thrilled with the newer one at Richmond & Kirby (which is near us). My current fave is Birra Porreti's at River Oaks shopping center: I always order a "bianco" (no tomato sauce) with hamburger & anchovie. I always get to eat the whole thing myself, too!
