I would have to say that it depends on what you are looking for in a hash brown. My personal favorite is again home made (I like to cook, what can I say.) Put a russet potato into a food processor and blend. Cover it with some purple onions and cheese, fry in a skillet medium heat turning only three times. The best for Sunday mornings when the sun wakes you up early. If you want to go out... 11th Street Cafe has some great hash browns. They almost look like french fries but crisper. I usually get this and biscuts and gravy. Bibas has some decend hash browns but I have trouble going to places like that. LePeep isn't bad for hash browns either but I get tired of pouring from the big caraffe into a little tiny glass to get a drink of water. Pat Shuff SE Sun Houston
