Anyone know of a good Japanese place on the West side of town? Ya know, the kind that has the chefs cook at your table if you like. Are some better for a hot date than others!? (I saw a Benehanai's(sp?) on Westheimer but have never been there) Thanks in advance . . . . hjjcl@hou281.chevron.com

Also, "good Japanese place" and "has the chefs cook at your table if you like" don't necessarily occur in the same establishment. There is a Miyako on Westheimer somewhere out west (not past the tollway though). They do pretty good Japanese food (well, pretty good to this gaijin), and the seating will allow for some of the emotionally hot date activity. They also serve sushi and sashimi, if you enjoy that, whereas I don't think Benihana does. |> |> hjjcl@hou281.chevron.com -- Joseph A. Watters, Jr. jaw@owlnet.rice.edu Rice University Houston, Texas

Its expensive, but the food is traditional and is -- ******************************************************************************* * Jorge Kamine Arreola * "An eye for an eye leaves two men blind." * email: kamine@is.rice.edu * -Edward James Olmos *******************************************************************************
