It hasn't been too long since I went to Power Tools so I believe it is still open. In fact, it is THE oldest club in Houston. Another place to go for some Houston night life is Emo's, Lola's, and some other bar next to Power Tools. Keep in mind that these aren't your regular night clubs, they have alot of Houston's underground population attending. Just trying to help... Ann

In fact, it is THE oldest club in Houston. Considering Power Tools only opened in '86, it's not even half as old as Numbers (if that's still open) and doesn't even come close to the ancient-ness of Rockefellers or Fitzgeralds or Ruds. Dunno what this has to do with food, anyhoo. Followups to houston.music. -- Ray Shea UniSQL, Inc. probably the Brewery Tap. Both it and Power Tools are still open.
Brewery Tap is popular with skaters (esp. Thursday nights), and
Power Tools has an "unofficial" policy of letting skaters in for free
(just skate right by the window).
