Hallo! Ich have a cli/odbc application which selects some rows from user tables with SQLExecDirect - SQLFetch and then uses SQLFreeStmt(hstmt,SQL_CLOSE) to close the cursor. The problem is, that the select produces some locks on system tables but the locks are only released when the transaction is closed with SQLEndTran. I have tried to use the SQLSetStmtAttr SQL_ATTR_CLOSE_BEHAVIOR to set to SQL_CC_RELEASE but i got an error from the odbc driver about not supported option. How can I force the release of the db-locks without ending the transaction??? My environment: Client: Windows NT workstation with db2 connect V7.1 with FP7 (WR21311) Database: DB2 V6.1.1 OS/390 I use Cursor Stability as isolation level! Thanks, Andreas Lederer
