Hello everyone The problem is I still cannot boot up to go into "prompt" command line..like c:> And with an error message saying "missing operation system" after using "fdisk"..I know I did not make my c: active that is why I have that error message. Process 1. I inserted a boot disk in "b:" drive as it is an old machine... 2. changed my comos set up sequency from "c: a:" that means it should read from c: first then a: then b:(I think) 3. ok when I booted it up...it reads my "51/4(a:) drive then c:(harddisk)and b:(floppy) at the same time, then c: again and stop with an error message.. so???A big ? on my head! If the computer is reading my floppy disk b: lastly I think I can get rid of the error message saying "Missing system operation"... Pls help me to boot up my PC. Many thanks Peggy -- ======================================================= Don't forget to reply my mail!! peggy17@netvigator.com Thank you very much! Have a nice day!!
