The file to >look for is SDL-76AE.EXE dated 04/09/95. This code can be obtained by ftp from ftp://ftp.usr.com/SYS/PCB/dl05 zipped into file sdl_44.exe dated 09/05/95 (I think - can't decipher my note!) dl05 is the Courier code dirctory, and also contains the manual in various formats and other useful notes. It upgrades suitable Couriers to V34+. previous to u/g, they replied 2886 to ATI0, after u/g they reply 3366, and the ATI6 details also change. end --- * Rory O'Farrell Email: ofarrwrk@iol.ie * * Tinode, Blessington, Co Wicklow, Ireland * * Voice/Fax + 353 1 458 2532 *

Since d/loading SDL_44 and updating my Courier, I have had more reliable connections. It is probably sticking my neck out to say so, and everything will go drasticly wrong for ages :-( end --- * Rory O'Farrell Email: ofarrwrk@iol.ie * * Tinode, Blessington, Co Wicklow, Ireland * * Voice/Fax + 353 1 458 2532 *

Yes, I also get very good connections 28800/28800 with often only 5-10 Blers
in an hour.

We just have to encourage USR to release V.34+ for their rackmount modems.
