Hi all. I am trying to sell my Amiga System. Here is what it is:
Amiga Tower: 68000 and 030 with a switch to change on the front.
The 030 is running at 25Mhz currently. It can be replace by a
faster 030 if you want to upgrade. The board will handle up to
a 50Mhz CPU.
5 Megs of ram. 1 of Chip, 2 of 16 bit fast, and 2 of 32 bit fast.
It can be expanded up to 8 megs of both 16 and 32 bit ram for 16 megs
of total fast ram. You can also expand it up to 2 megs of chip if
you want to buy the DKB thing.
It has 2 internal 3.5 inch disk drives. It also has a switch to
turn DF1: into DF0: and disable DF0:. Oh, one other switch, it is
a harware pal/ntsc switch so you don't have to mess with pal booter
programs.
Guess what else it has? Yep, a Hard disk. It is a 105 Meg Quantum
IDE HD. It has plenty of things on it, especially music modules.
About 40 megs of those things, I think. :-)
It still has 3 5.25 inch drive bays and 2 3.5 inch drive bays free.
There is a detachable keyboard and a mouse and pad and cables and
manuals and software and things like that.
Oh, I forgot, there is a place for a 68881 or 68882 if you are into
heavy graphic stuff.
Amiga 1084 Stero Monitor:
I think you all can figure this one out.
I also have a 1200 baud modem to throw in if you want it. Wow,
SPEED! :-)
I am asking $2500 U.S. for it all. I will not break up things, but I will
sell the computer without the monitor, but not the monitor without the
computer. You can make a lower offer if you wish or replp with al questions
you have. Thanks.

Oh, I guess the A3000 wouldn't have the bigger hard drive and the neato 1200 baud modem. This isn't a flame but just protecting unweary buyers. I've had my share of getting ripped off and almost getting ripped off because of suggestions from helpful net'ers. alan

The current list price of the Amiga 3000 (25MHz/50MegHdrive)
is $1500. Some dealers may be selling it for less than that.
Asking above one grand for an _used_ A3000 is ridiculous.
