Considder the telephone network. The telephone network uses non-adaptive routing. Is there a relation between the way it operates (circuit oriented, connection oriented) and the routing being non-adaptive? When there is failure in the telephone network (a link or switch failing), subsequent calls are normally being routed over alternative routes; does that imply the telephone network is ADAPTIVE rather than non-adaptive? Thanks, Erwin ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Einstein is dead...Newton isn't allive anymore, and I already start to feel not very well anymore... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
