Goood day hashers! This week's Blooming Fools hash, the "RU2K" hash, will take place this Saturday, February 20, starting at 4:00pm from Clear Creek Elementary School just south of Bloomington. Your hares will be White Lightning and Red Hot Chili Pecker, who assure you that all the bugs will be worked out of the trail before you have to hash on it. We have our best people working on it right now. Hash news: the first ever Blooming Fool Moon Hash will take place March 2. That's right, a mid-week hash to get you in the mood for . . . beer and more hashing. Hared by Cunning Linguist, the Fool Moon hash will be . . . whatever his cunning mind can think up! More information to come! Directions to this week's hash: From 37, take the Tapp Road exit (the stoplight just south of the Second St./Bloomfield Road exit). Turn east toward town. At the second four-way intersection, turn right onto Rogers St. Take Rogers south for a mile or so, until you pass a post office, an antique/junk store and That Road. Rogers Street will jog left -- immediately after the jog, turn left onto Clear Creek Road. Clear Creek Elementary will be on the left. From Bloomington, take Walnut Street south until you get to a stoplight at the Church Lane/Schact Road intersection. Turn right onto Church Lane. Take Church Lane to the end, and turn right. Turn right at the next road, Clear Creek Road. Clear Creek Elementary is on the left. Look for hashers getting dizzy after taking three right turns. Park and hash. ON ON! WL
