Only seven more drinking days until St. Patrick's! Time to start
readyin' one's self for:

BFH3 Hash Number Something-or-Other

Location: Winslow Sports Complex, Bloomington
Cost: $3 (cheap!)

The Lord of the Hash

Our story begins with a leprechaun who frolicked all the day
long in the shamrock with Paddy and Eamonn and Brian O'Murphy and all
the wee fairy people. And this bein' agin the law, they were t'rewn in
th' slammer, where they were encouraged to do same with total lack of
anythin' else t' do. Also, the part about the leprechaun was a bit of
a farce. It was just a bunch of gee lads. And fick all of it has
anyt'in' t' do with th' Lord of the Hash.

It all begin wit' Don Dorcha, th' Dark One, sendin' Morrighan
th' Temptress out t' steal away th' man of Saorise. And in counterin'
th' demons, there's nothin' like scatterin' flour (white symbolisin'
good ya know) on a trail all about the wood th' dark spirit live
in. And a bit of ale here along th' way, and so THE LORD OF THE HASH
came skippin' in, hands on his waist, bare-chested and wearin' gold
lame britches and right lookin' like one of the O'Murphy gang. But
your man th' Lord, he leads a merry band (a mite too merry, if ye
catch my drift) and in no time flat, the wood's all clear of
demonfolk, and the only problem left is gettin' rid of them that ran
the demon off, sorry bunch of arseholes they are.

DIRECTIONS: From the north, head south on Walnut Street (Rt
37), or on Henderson, to Hillside. Turn left (east) on Hillside until
you get to Highland. Turn right (south) on Highland, and go until the
YMCA is on your left. Park in the little lot on the right. Look for
the hashers sucking their guts in, park, and hash.
