Good day hashers! This Saturday is the Great Easter Keg Hunt Hash, starting from Jackson Creek Middle School in southern Bloomington. Your Easter-bunny hares will be Hourly "Floppy" Rate and Barney "Thumper" Sore-Ass. It'll start at the usual 4:00pm and cost the usual $3.00 (cheep!). After the hash trail, we will hold the annual Easter Keg Hunt, in which hashers will frolic in the fields in search of the hidden keg. Who's going to find it this year? The excitement is palpable (well, something's palpable, anyway). C'mon out and have some Peeps! Directions: To get to Jackson Creek Middle School from 37, go to the Tapp Road intersection (the first stoplight south of the Second Street/Bloomfield Road exit) and head east toward town on Tapp Road. Go straight through two stop signs, and turn right at the first stoplight onto the southbound Walnut Street. Go south about one mile, passing the Recycling Station/Animal Shelter on the right, and turn left onto Gordon Pike, which turns into Rhorer Road. Head east on Rhorer Road, and look for Jackson Creek Middle School on your left. Turn left onto Sare Road to get to the Jackson Creek Middle School. Park at the school, and look for the hashers performing fertility rituals in the parking lot. From Bloomington, take Walnut Street south past the Winslow Road intersection. Go about a mile past Winslow, and turn left onto Gordon Pike, which turns into Rhorer Road. Go about a mile east on Rhorer, and look for Jackson Creek Middle School on the left.
