In a message to Air Brush Art Teachers written on Thursday, December 10, 1992 at 9:49:00 AM, Chad Knutson writes: CK> To whom ever reads this I need some basic help with my air brush < CK> skills and it seems to me it will be easiest if I start at the < CK> begenning and that means with the paper, since I am useing the schools < CK> materials and paint I can at least < CK> find my own paper the paper I need is some that will work well with a < CK> water based paint. < At my school we used to use a rather ordinary 20 lb bond, in largish sheets, but I think it really doesn't matter too much unless you already have particular needs. Aside from very absorbent papers, I think most papers will be good unless you plan to spray heavily and in many layers. Go for something a bit heavier than 20 lb just to be safe, and if you can get to an art supplies store the staff might be helpful - some of the local people here are extremely knowledgeable about materials.
