I haven't used many with the PC, besides Deluxe Paint II Enhanced, I'm using Deluxe Paint IV on my Amiga. I have also seen Deluxe Paint Animation on the IBM, but I heard that it lacks high resolution modes that are found on Deluxe Paint II Enhanced on the PC. So it's sort of a tradeoff, if you want to strictly draw the best bet of the two would obviously be Deluxe Paint II Enhanced, but it lacks animation features. I'm not sure but there may be a new version which allows for highres painting and lowres

animation in package or maybe even hires animation. Like I said I'm not to sure. One plus with the Deluxe Paint series is that they load IFF format pictures which are the Amiga standard, so there would no need to find a conversion program toi support your paint program. You could merely download an Amiga picture and instantly load it. As far as I have seen there are not many differences between the IBM and Amiga versions of Deluxe Paint and Deluxe Paint would be my first choice.
