Hi. I'm the mother of a nine year old boy and am looking around for a
school placement for next year or the year after. After 8 years in a
fabulous special ed. school, it's time to move on. He tests learning
disabled-gifted, and receives occupational therapy and social work
services as part of his current school program. He reads well, is above
grade in math and general knowledge, but has trouble with written
expression, follow-through, and social skills.

If anyone out there has any ideas for appropriate schools for a fifth or
sixth grader, especially in or around the Washington, D.C. area, I'd
greatly appreciate you sending them to the e-mail address below. Thanks
very much.
