Hi Joe,

That really must have been something! Could you provide some more info about the shuttle tracking program? How did you go about ordering it?
We're going to build a simulator/habitat where four "astronauts" will live and work for several hours, utilizing a Shuttle Simulator program for the Mac. I still have to contact Wayne Calk in El Paso to actually GET the program. Communication between the habitat and Mission Control will be accomplished through the use of modem-equipped PC's and video cameras.

We plan to do the same. I've downloaded gobs of lesson plans relating to spaceflight from Spacelink via TENET. The materials are on order. What kinds of experiments did your astronauts perform? How did you "modify" the Microsoft Flight program? More to the point, how could WE modify it <g>? Do you have a portfolio of your activities that you could send to us C.O.D.? I'd really like to know more about your project!
JN> We put over 500 students through our program last year and had a
WOW! We plan to put 60 students through our 8-week program, and have put hours and hours of work into it, planning, ordering materials, arranging for field trips, etc.
Thanks for taking the time to tell me about your program!
Chris
