Hello Joe, I couldn't resist. About that vacuum. Several Tech Ed teachers in my district got together for a week before school started this year and built many devices for demonstration and contesting for our students. One thing we built was several vacuum powered hovercraft. They cost about $12 each to construct (not including the vacuum). We had great fun with them. The first thing we did was put my new principal on one and played hockey with a human puck. It was a great way to introduce him to Tech Ed since he had no idea what it was. Now he comes to my class regularly to "play" with our many "toys" and watch the kids learn. Couldn't help but butt in on this one. I hope Doug will forgive me.
