Janice... Thanks for responding to my message.  I wasn't sure this bulletin board was "for real".ûß  I'll take your advice.  My pet peave is teaching grammar for the sake of grammar.  I figure if you can't put it to good use in producing something besides busy work, why bother?  I've met with two classes so far and am really enjoying it.  Rod
