Hello St. Johns!! This is the fourth period English class. We are
returning our response to your questions.
The fun questions shall come first.
1) How big is New Albany? Well let's put it this way, our township has
less than 5,000 people.
2) You asked us what a freshman was. To be a freshman means to be a
first year student in any school building. We are the new kids here in
the high school.
3)What do we do in our spare time? Well for one, we like to read. Some
of us like to compose stories and play sports. And of course the girls
love to talk on the phone.
4) The classes that we take are of course English 9,
Civics\Geography, Physical Education, a math course, a science course,
and you have the option of having a foreign language (being German or
Spanish).
5+6) Our school is not very big. We only have about 259 students that
have to go to eight strenuous classes for forty-two minutes each.
7)The only big city we're close to is Columbus. It's city limits are
only about ten minutes away but about thirty minutes away from downtown.
8) The rules in our school are pretty basic. They state that you cannot
fight, cheat, steal, etc. A new rule that the School Board is forcing
upon us that locks must be kept on all lockers at all times.
9) We dress rather casual. Usually blue jeans and a sweater or T-shirt.
10) The clothes that are in style are hats and pegged pants. The music
on the other hand would be hard-rock\heavy metal. Now for the current
event questions.
1) No, we think the Canadian flag being put on upside down was a
complete accident. We hope you were not offended.
2) Not too many people have heard about Quebec possibly splitting from
Canada.
3) Personally, we think a youth being thrown in jail constitutes extreme
punishment. In our school, as far as we know, it has never happened
before.
4) Most people in our class think that Bill Clinton will win the
presidential election simply for the fact that most people want a
change.
5) The reason that not too many things are being found out about Ross
Perot is that most people don't figure him as real threat in this
presidential election.
6) As a whole, not too many people have seen "Erotica" but
those who have thought it was pretty stupid and typical Madonna.
Will being sending you our own survey sometime next week but now this is
all we have time for.
