Dear Ashley,
How are you doing? I am fine and am just about to leave for Christmas
break. Concerning my comment about the new president: I respect all
authority whether republican or democrat. It sounds like you have many
hobbies up there in Canada. I have visited there a couple times. My
family was in Niagra Falls and Glacier Nat'l Park. We also visited the
Canadian side. For your information, I find your country very pretty
and scenic. In the U.S., you have to be 16 years old to own a driver's
license. There are certain exceptions. In South Dakota and Mississippi
you can get one at 15. In New York City you have to be 18 to drive in
the city. Unfortunately, I have about a year and a half to go.
In the past World Series, I kind of felt like we were competing in
the Olympics. In my opinion, the best team won. The Braves just didn't
have what it took to get it done.
Do all Canadians seem to love hockey?
I was just wondering because you guys seem to enjoy it. Many Americans
like it too but they don't seem to take it as seriously as you do.
Well, I gotta go and I hope to hear form you soon.
Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!
