This is the last entry in this Channel, so thanks to those who entered into the spirit of the thing. Maybe next year we will have another go at it.

Can't remember which answers have not been given. But the answer to how long is a piece of string, according to my grandfather, was "Twice as long as half of it".

I will leave you with another gem from grandad.

The next time your anklebiters want a bottle of coke, give them water, and tell them that "lions grow strong on it!".

Some of you may prefer to insert an "es's" in there somewhere!
