To All Students,
Hello, my name is Aidee Judith Ramos. I am an eighth
grader at Indian Ridge Middle School. I am the I.R.M.S.
reporter. I just want to let you know something about me,
well to start off I am 14 years old. I'm a part of NJHS
council, Student council, and I participate in athletic
activities. My main purpose in writing is to let everybody
who's intrested know a little bit about our school and what
is going around our community.
Around our school area we have many activities going on
pertaining to the Christmas holiday. First of all, our
drama club is putting on a Christmas play of Penuts. That is
going to be held tonight (December 10). Aslo tonight our
band is preforming some of their holiday songs.
Well I think that you can say that I.R.M.S. is really
getting into the holiday feeling of giving. For the
following days all of our advisory classes will hloding a can
food drive. This drive is sponsered by Student council, but
the food brought in will be donated to the Salvation Army.
That's just our way of saying Merry Christmas.
My teacher Mrs. Hooper is making up a little activity
dealing with the season, but also with Math. All of her
classes are making little kites. Actually tomarrow we will
be putting all the kites together to make about two or three
Christmas trees. All the trees will be displayed in the
school library. We all know she has something else up her
sleve for decorations, but untill then.
Finally the last activity is the our school games. Last
Saturday was supposed to be our very first basketball game,
but it was cancled due to the snow. We were going to play
against Valley View Middle School. So this week we are going
to play Eastwood Middle School. Well to fill you in we won.
The eighth graders (girls) won by one point. The score was
16 to 15. Our eighth grade boys won 54 to about 23. Our
seventh graders (girls) won 44 to 13. Then our boys
(seventh) lost.
Today the week before our vacations we are taking our
six weeks test. Just one more thing. I wanted to say sorry
for the previous note. I wrote it and everything but I
didn't respond in time and it was erased. So whoever wrote
me I never got the message. So if you wouldn't mind please
write back. I really want ot hear from you. I promise as
soon as I hear that I got mail back I'll write the very next
day. Thank you for evrything, and I hope to hear from you
soon.
                                       Yours Truely,
                                  Aidee Judith Ramos
                                  8th grade Reporter
P.S. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
